...Organic Manufacturing Since 2002. At Danielle and Company, we are not “going green” because we have always been green! We are committed to the sustainability of the earth and its people. From our green factory to the ingredients we use in our products, we make sure every step in the process is conscious of the environment while providing you with an organic product that is essential for mind and body wellness. Here are some of the things we do everyday:

Green On the Inside

• Eco-Ingredients: Natural and certified organically sourced ingredients and essential oils that are fully biodegradable, sustainable and non-toxic.
• NO use of Harsh Chemicals: Sulfates, surfactants, detergents, parabens, silicones, phtalates, petro-chemicals, mineral oil or artificial dyes/colors.

Green On the Outside

• Responsible Packaging: We use PET postconsumer recycled (PCR) plastic caps and bottles and recycled glass for our candles which can be recycled or reused.
• Responsible Printing: We use soy and waterbased inks for our printing and FSC certified paper for our catalogs.

Our Green Factory

• Energy Efficiency/Conservation: We use of compact florescent bulbs, Energy Star appliances and incentive-based carpooling.
• Water Reduction/Conservation: We use of low flow faucets & low flush toilets, drinking water from a water cooler and use rainwater to feed the plants & herbs that we grow on site.
• Green Shipping: We use Geami®, a recyclable paper packing material, for our outbound shipments. We also reuse packing peanuts, corrugated and bubble wrap from inbound shipments.
• Green Cleaning: We use green and ecofriendly cleaning and supplies to clean the factory and our machinery.

Our Green Office

• Paper Reduction & Recycling: We use both sides of recycled paper and recycle all paper, plastic, glass and corrugated products.
• Reusability: We use coffee mugs and dishware instead of plastic-ware and use PLA corn-based compostable-ware.

Social Responsibility

• Helping the Honeybees: 5% of net proceeds from the sales of our Candles goes to the Honeybee Research Fund at Penn State University to support research, education and outreach efforts in the areas of honeybee biology, health, pollination services and Colony Collapse Disorder.
• Support our Local Community: We purchase raw materials and goods locally, hire locally with no outsourcing for overseas production and consistently support our local charities and nonprofit agencies.
